Greenhouse Club (RSOs)

The Greenhouse club is divided into three branches (pun intended): Volunteering: We provide the opportunity for students to learn to propagate plants, identify plant illness, and integrated pest management. (This also helps the greenhouse because we are understaffed due to budget cuts.) Volunteering takes place most Fridays, in the greenhouse, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM! Social: It's hard to make friends in college, so we hold workshops and potlucks to allow like-minded people to congregate. (Plus it's nice to go to a party where you know nobody will be drunk or high and you're still protected under Title IX.) In some of the workshops we generate more things to sell at the plant cart. Sales: we sell plants and nick knacks that we've propagated/crafted, and all the proceeds go back to the greenhouse (except for the small amount we set aside to fund social events.) The express purpose of this club is to support the Greenhouse in times of financial stress, and facilitate a safe environment to meet like-minded peers.
