Shakti Club of Cal Poly Humboldt (RSOs)

The purpose of Shakti Club is to foster and promote a safe environment for students and community members to come together and be creative. Throughout meetings, members shall have the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas to help guide the flow of our collective. Activities such as meditation, dancing, art, music making, hiking, chanting, journaling, and more shall be incorporated into our practice to engage our child-like spirit. Shakti club shall encounter relations with (and is not limited to only) religious studies, philosophy, humanities, wildlife, nature, music, and many more subjects, which each play a valuable role in the harmony of our club experiences. Each meeting shall focus on the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional needs of Shakti Club members to ensure care, growth, and respect for all. In addition, the club shall revolve around each individual member and their unique backgrounds and experiences.
