Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) (RSOs)

We are looking to build a strong community for Hispanic students in the engineering department of Cal Poly Humboldt. We want Hispanic students in the school of engineering to feel comfortable and empowered to succeed in their careers. Our goal is to increase the number of Hispanic engineers at Cal Poly Humboldt. With this in mind, we want to develop a professional path for the students by participating in programs with the university and local industries that benefit students seeking technical degrees. Another goal we would like to accomplish is to participate in the national convention that the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers holds every year.
