At our core, we are a group of students who believe in freedom, free markets, and limited government, but more than that, we’re creating a space for those who feel overlooked or unheard in today’s political world. About Turning Point USA Turning Point USA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk. Its mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. TPUSA believes that every young person can be enlightened to true free-market values. Since its founding, TPUSA has built the largest and fastest-growing grassroots conservative network on over 2,000 high school and college campuses across the country. Our chapter is proud to be part of this movement, but we’re also a place where those who feel out of place politically can find their people.
