Homer Balabanis
Professor
Professor Balabanis taught economics at Humboldt for many years, in addition to serving as a top administrator. He died in 1991 and was an enthusiastic supporter of the arts. His impact on Cal Poly Humboldt was so great that he was referred to as "Mr. Humboldt" in his time.
The Homer Balabanis Economics Scholarship was created in honor of Professor Balabanis.
