The $1,000 Homer Balabanis Economics Scholarship, in honor of founding Humboldt economist Dr. Homer Balabanis, is awarded annually to an Economics student based on academic achievement.

Bob R. Kittleson Economics Scholarship
The $1,000 Bob R. Kittleson Economics Scholarship Award, in honor of long-time Humboldt economist Dr. Bob Kittleson, is awarded annually to an Economics student who has demonstrated outstanding ability, especially relating to the study and understanding of the local economy and the problems of local economic growth.

The Atkinson Family Economics Scholarship
The $1,000 Atkinson Family Economics Scholarship Award, in honor of Alumni Glen and Patti Atkinson, is awarded annually to an Economics student based on academic achievement.

The $1,250 Don Lewis Prize, in honor of Alumnus Don Lewis, is awarded to a student based on outstanding performance in Economics classes.
