About Caleb
Why did you choose this program?
The quality of instruction, job outlooks, location, and value.
How did this program prepare you for your job?
I was well prepared for a range of natural resources positions and have excelled at my internships and graduate school appointments due to the applied nature of my coursework. I was prepared to be a strong technical writer and I learned to collaborate with my peers to tackle large and complex analyses.
What did you enjoy most about the program?
I enjoyed the collaboration and camaraderie of my cohort. I also appreciated how dedicated all the faculty and staff were to facilitate learning and give the ERE students opportunities to practice applied engineering.
What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?
If you are interested in natural resources and want an applied technical background, I think ERE is one of the best programs in the country.
If you are expecting a large-school experience with lots of resources, you might be disappointed, but if you want to have personal connections with your professors and classmates and want to focus on a high level of academic instruction, then look no further.
