Job description: In my role as a graduate student I am focused on studying water quality, treatment systems, and their environmental impacts while integrating interdisciplinary courses in public health, geospatial analysis, and hydrology to deepen my understanding of environmental engineering. As a graduate student intern at the Office of Legislative Affairs Division at the California State Water Resources Control Board, I assist in the preparation of legislative reports and monitor laws that are a priority for water board policies and program implants. Additionally, I compile legislative correspondence to senate and assembly members and provide detailed legislative summaries on bills to contribute to the board's decision-making process.
