Trevor Keiber

Trevor Keiber, 2006 Physics & Astronomy, Chemistry, Math, is graduating in December 2015 with a Ph.D. in physics from UCSC, studying the structure of complex materials using X-ray spectroscopy. Keiber is currently seeking post-doctoral or assistant professor positions.

Kathryn Hedges, 2010 Biological Sciences, started a handcrafting business in Silicon Valley at TechShop in 2011. She creates jewelry, holiday decor, and souvenirs and sells locally and globally online.
Fred Koegler
, Physical Education, 1966
Fred Koegler, 1966 Physical Education, is celebrating his 50th season as a park ranger this summer in Yosemite National Park. He is currently head of the Horse Patrol in Tuolumne Meadows, a high alpine section of the park. Being a horse patrol Park Ranger, has allowed him to be a part of a long-standing tradition that dates back to the U.S. Cavalry and their responsibility of patrolling our first national parks. Koegler lives in the Glendale/La Crescenta area with his wife, who is also an HSU alumna. In addition to his work with the Forest Service, Koegler is a retired schoolteacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Verdugo Hills High School, and is an active L.A. County Reserve Sheriff Deputy, with more than 40 years service in the Volunteer Montrose Mountain Search and Rescue Team based out of the Glendale area.

Jarad Petroske and his wife, Angie (née Renzo), also an alumna ('09, NRPI), welcomed their second child, Henrietta, in 2014.
Erin Carlson-Jones

Erin Carlson-Jones, 2001 Communication, is a licensed clinical social worker and trainer. Carlson-Jones has worked in children's mental health for many years, and is now the Director of a 65-bed residential treatment program in San Jose, Calif. Carlson-Jones has been married for 10 years and owns a home in Boulder Creek, Calif.
Ali
Sociology, 2002 B.A. and 2009 M.A.
Ali R. Chaudhary, 2002 Sociology and 2009 Sociology, earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, in 2015. He is currently a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Oxford and enjoying life in the U.K. with his wife Rebecca Kellawan and their newborn son, Miles Ali Chaudhary. In January 2017, they will move to New York City, when Ali will take up his position as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Dylan Chalfant
Kinesiology, Minor in Business Administration, 2010
Dylan Chalfant, 2010 Kinesiology & Recreation Administration, finished his degree by moving to Austin, TX, for an internship with the City of Austin Aquatics Department. After the internship, Chalfant became a seasonal district supervisor for the city, where he supervised a staff of 40 lifeguards. In 2012, he took a full-time, year-round position as the Aquatics Director for a private company called Lifeguard4Hire. Chalfant currently directs a staff of 250 lifeguards, swim instructors, and district supervisors.

Philosophy, 2003
H.A. Nethery IV, 2003 Philosophy, received an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Memphis, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Duquesne University.
Nethery is currently an assistant professor of philosophy in the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Florida Southern College.
Beverly Dahlen

Beverly Dahlen, 1956 Language Arts, retired from San Francisco City College. Dahlen is also a practicing poet, and received an award for her writing in 2013 from the New York Foundation for Cotemporary Arts.
