Lumberjack Weekend Block Party FAQ
The Block Party opens at 4:00 p.m. with the sounds of Funky T-Rex. Make sure to explore the local food vendors before The Beach Boys!
The Beach Boys will take the stage at 6:00 p.m.
The drone show is scheduled to begin around 8:00 p.m., following the Beach Boys’ set.
We encourage attendees to come without bags, but if necessary, you may bring the following:
- Backpacks or bags made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC
- Small bags, fanny packs, or purses up to 6” x 8” x 3” (non-clear allowed)
- Empty hydration packs with a capacity under 2.5L (150 in) and no more than one additional pocket
Please note: standard backpacks with hydration bladders are not allowed.
Yes, you may bring:
- An empty metal or plastic bottle up to 32 oz (one per person)
- A factory-sealed plastic bottle up to 32 oz (one per person)
Yes, a water bottle refill station will be available.
You can pick up your wristbands at these locations:
- Thursday, University Quad 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Friday, University Quad 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday, Library Parking Lot 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Saturday, Block Party Entrances 4:00 to 7:30 pm
We still have the capacity to register people in-person for the event. It is highly recommended to register in-person during the earliest check-in times above to assure you get a wristband for attendance to the Block Party.
A selection of food trucks will be on-site, and a beer, wine, and cider garden will serve local products to attendees 21+ with valid ID.
Yes, food and beverage vendors will accept both cash and major credit cards.
Yes, you can exit and re-enter the Block Party as long as you still have your wristband.
Limited bleacher seating will be available near the concert area, along with tables and chairs near the food court. Please note: chairs cannot be moved from the designated dining areas.
No, personal chairs are not allowed due to fire code restrictions.
Parking on campus will be limited. We recommend that people take alternative forms of transportation (walk, bike, or take the bus), but more information on parking can be found here: humboldt.edu/transportation-parking/visitor-parking
There are ADA parking spaces throughout the campus, but we are adding a limited number of ADA parking spaces to parking lot G15 where we will also run a shuttle to the event. Find more information on ADA parking.
Only certified service animals are allowed at the event.
No, unfortunately the Beach Boys will not be selling merchandise.
Yes, Lumberjack Weekend t-shirts will be available while supplies last and all proceeds will benefit student clubs.
Non-professional cameras are allowed. However, professional recording equipment (e.g., tripods, detachable lenses) is prohibited.
Weapons, drugs, fireworks, glass containers, and outside alcohol are strictly forbidden.
