Short Description of your Research or Creative Project (700 characters or less)
Through College Corps, I served at Redwood National and State Parks, primarily in visitor services at Kuchel Visitor Center near Orick, CA. I provided information on trails, conditions, and park features, and regularly roved southern park trails to support visitor safety, report conditions, and improve recommendations. This experience strengthened my skills in scientific communication, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving. Interacting with diverse visitors enhanced my ability to communicate across backgrounds. My service supported park operations, improved visitor experiences, and fostered community connection and stewardship.
