Nicole Rahman-Garnier
Assistant Coordinator
Nicole graduated in 2020 with a BS in Marine Biology and earned her MS in Biology in 2025 from Cal Poly Humboldt. She was involved with the PBLCs from 2018-2019, working as a student staff with Rising Tides and later as a Summer Assistant.
In addition to her PBLC experience, Nicole has served as a STEM Transfer Ambassador, mentoring students in marine sciences and oceanography, and most recently as a Teaching Associate for Zoology and Evolution courses. She is deeply passionate about supporting underserved students in navigating higher education and achieving their academic goals.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys sailing on Humboldt Bay, jet boating on the Klamath River, and taking long walks on the beach with her dog, Luna.
