Innovative Learning and Transition Specialist

Kelda (she/her) holds a B.A. Degree in Indigenous and American Indian Studies from Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. She graduated in 2018 with Masters Degree from Cal Poly Humboldt, Environment and Community Program. Kelda has worked as a Natural Resource Director for the Council of Athabascan Tribal Governments in Interior, Alaska. She also worked at the Round Valley Unified School District where she taught High School for four years and assumed the High School Principal position for one year. In her role as Transition Specialist, she is working to create and implement programming for the purpose of increasing transfer success to underserved students, and assisting first year students in their transition to college.
