VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Youth Education Services has a variety of community engagement options for students ranging from low commitment to more in-depth opportunities (see the attached fliers). Find out more at the Y.E.S. table in the Library lobby today from 11am-1pm. Volunteer enrollment is open through Jan. 29. FYI, for student volunteers who participate in a weekly Y.E.S. program, Y.E.S. now has a required 1-unit course (Issues in Community Volunteering; course #26525). This allows the ability to provide liability coverage for students before they engage in direct service activities. To get a permission number for this course, fill out an interest slip at the Y.E.S. House (House 91) or email coordinator Melea Smith at Melea.Smith@humboldt.edu.
