Shared Path Symbol Project
The Shared Path Symbol Project calls for identifying the LK Wood sidewalk between Granite Avenue and 14th Street as a shared path for pedestrians, bicyclists and other non-motorized forms of micro mobility. This will be done by painting up to seven shared path symbols and attaching two metal signs on existing signposts at strategic locations along this double wide sidewalk. Expected outcomes include the increased use of bicycles and other forms of micro mobility, improved safety for commuters, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Project cost is estimated at $4,000.
