This project proposal aims to reduce the unnecessary use of artificial lights in natural lit spaces on campus by implementing a daylight harvesting system which will reduce total energy consumption and abide by the new energy standards.The locations approved by the Committee are the J Dining Commons and the K&A atrium ‘beehive’ fixtures.

This project proposed building a perminant cover for the EarthTub composter to keep water out and employees and equipment dry.This project was defunded because the Earth Tub is being retired from use as campus pivots to a new in-vessel unit that will process a larger volume of material at the J Dining Hall.

The purpose of the WRRAP Electric Bike project was to provide a reliable and suitable form of transportation for the Compost Squad from the Waste Reduction and Resource Awareness Program (WRRAP) to collect organic material within the Cal Poly Humboldt campus.
