The topping off of the 465 ft high Trinity River dam is almost complete. The dam will store 2,500,000 AF for export to the CV Project. The dam is an earth fill dam containing 33,100,000 C.Y. The surface area = 16,400 ac. With a 145 mi shoreline. It will generate 100,000 KW from the release into Lewistan afterbay. Whiskeytown Reservoir is under construction & will contain 3,460 ac. As the water runs down to Whiskeytown the water will generate 134,000 KW. From Whiskeytown it will drop 522' feet & generate 105,000 KW.
