Catey Hoehn
Councilor
Department: Office of the Registrar
Term: 2026
Catey Hoehn (pronounced Hane) moved to Humboldt in 2023 to pursue her masters in Public Sociology. Originally only planning on staying the two years required to complete the degree, Catey got an on-campus job in the Admissions and Records Call Unit within the Office of the Registrar processing incoming transcripts and answering phone calls. Catey loved working in the Office of the Registrar so much that she stayed through July 2025 as a student assistant. In January 2026, Catey returned to the Office of the Registrar as an Admission Evaluator and professional staff. Thrilled to make Humboldt County her long-term home, Catey is proud to be a Lumberjack and a member of Staff Council.
Off campus, you can find Catey at one of the many beaches year round, at the rivers in the summer, and at home listening to the same albums on repeat on her record player with her wife and two dogs. Her favorite part about living in Humboldt County is the Friday Night Market, mostly for the good food and community connections.
