Sherry Beasley

Hello, I'm Sherry Beasley and I am the Admissions and Records Call Unit Coordinator and started working at Cal Poly Humboldt in August 2023. In this position, I oversee the student assistants who process transcripts and answer all the phone calls that come into the call unit. 

I moved with my parents to Humboldt County from Salt Lake City Utah at the end of 8th grade and have been here ever since.  After living in many other states (Texas, Oregon, Washington, Louisiana, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah) before moving to Humboldt, it was easy to love the area and appreciate the beauty.  Not to mention, not having to sit in traffic for hours and live in extreme heat or large amounts of snow, made it easy to stay in this area.

When not at work I enjoy spending time with my son and husband.  You will often catch me with my young son at basketball games, football games, and the Arcata pool for swim lessons.  When I have downtime I love to read, cook, and spend quality time with my family.
