Study Abroad

See the world through Cal Poly Humboldt

Participate in a transformative experience overseas, and work towards graduation in any Cal Poly Humboldt major. You can spend a summer, semester or year studying abroad in one of over 200 international destinations.

Faculty-Led Programs

Faculty-led programs are developed at Cal Poly Humboldt, and offer up an opportunity for students to take Humboldt classes abroad and for resident credit. Most of our faculty-led programs run during the summer. These include field studies and International Service Learning Program (ISLP)

Destinations include: Costa Rica, Belize, Spain and more.

Bilateral Exchanges

Students participating in exchanges pay tuition and registration fees at Cal Poly Humboldt and study abroad at affiliated partner host universities. These programs are competitive and there is a selection process. 

CSU International Programs (CSUIP)

Semester and year-long programs are available in many different locations, including Chile, Japan, Spain, Germany, England and Taiwan. 

Third Party Provider Programs

You can travel through external programs like the University Study Abroad Consortium (USAC), CEA CAPA Education Abroad, School for International Training (SIT) or Wildlands Studies. Through any of these, you can tailor your experience by discipline or by country.
