Yocelin Rios

Yocelin is a Student Mentor at TRIO Educational Talent Search. They are pursuing a degree in Biology and plan to get their teaching credential in the subject. They bring first hand experience navigating being a first-gen & low income student in a higher education setting to their role, where they help students from a similar background pursue their career goals. 

In their role, Yocelin works on helping students with college preparation and connecting them with on campus resources. They strive to encourage their students to pursue a higher education and remind them they can accomplish their goals.
