Testing Accommodations Guidlines

Testing Accommodations Guidelines

Students receiving testing accommodations through the CDRC are required to adhere to the following Testing Center guidelines.:

Scheduling Exams:
  • Exams should be scheduled 3 days in advance.
  • Final Exams should be scheduled 3 weeks prior to Final’s Week.

Students who miss the deadline should contact testing@humboldt.edu immediately. Exams will be scheduled based on availability.

Test Date and Time:

Exams should be scheduled the same day and time as the rest of your class when a class schedule permits. Students should try and take their exam so that it overlaps with the rest of the class.

Arrive on Time:

Arriving late may result in the loss of exam time. (Please contact the testing center if you are going to be late).

Final Exam:

Final Exams need to be scheduled for the same date as the in class Final. Final exams should be scheduled to overlap with the In-Class Final exam.

Make-Up Exams:

Make-up exams are a 2-step process. Approval is at the discretion of the Instructor upon consultation with a CDRC Advisor and the Testing Center.

  • Students will need approval to take a Make-Up Exam from their Instructor and a CDRC Advisor
Notifications:

CDRC students will notify their Instructor and the Testing Center (prior to testing date/time) about any changes, including cancellations, illness, or any unforeseen circumstances that may arise.
