ChatGPT for Administrative Efficiency: Building Reusable Workflows That Reduce Rework

May 1, 2026

Time: 2:00 pm-3:30 pm

Location: Remote via ZOOM

Instructor: Chris Tauchman

Maximum Enrollment: 50

This session explores how CSU staff can move beyond one-off AI use and begin applying ChatGPT through simple, repeatable workflows that reduce rework and improve consistency across everyday tasks. Designed for participants who have already experimented with ChatGPT, the workshop focuses on how to structure interactions so context, intent, and quality carry forward instead of starting from scratch each time.

Participants will see how to turn rough inputs into decision-ready outputs, reuse effective prompts across similar tasks, and refine results without increasing effort. Rather than focusing on individual tasks, the session emphasizes workflow thinking, including preparing inputs, guiding outputs, and improving results through iteration, while maintaining human judgment and responsibility.
The session includes demonstration and guided discussion. No pre-work is required.
