Marissa "Mari" Holguin

Mari transferred from Los Angeles Harbor College to Humboldt in 2012 and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Conservation & Management in 2015. She has been on campus ever since working in various departments on campus, and now works as the Transfer Student Center Coordinator in the Centers for Inclusive Academic & Career Excellence. She received her Masters Degree in Education in 2024 and created a Transfer Success Course during this program that is now available to all incoming transfer students as a resource. She is very passionate about the transfer student experience and is excited to be able to serve students who are on similar paths and to provide the support that we know transfer students need.
