Next Steps

Congratulations! Welcome to Cal Poly Humboldt, where professors know you by name, and social and environmental responsibility is at the heart of everything we do. As California’s third polytechnic, Humboldt offers an innovative, hands-on education in an awe-inspiring location that’s tucked between ancient redwoods and the Pacific Ocean.

The Humboldt college journey is one that puts you on a path of discovery, and prepares you to help address the world’s most pressing problems.

Regional Send off Picnics

Before you embark on your journey to Humboldt, join fellow students and alumni at regional send-off picnics in various cities across California. The picnics, hosted by Forever Humboldt—the University’s alumni association—are opportunities for students and their families to begin building community by connecting, asking questions, and meeting other incoming Humboldt students, and alumni who will share what they love about Humboldt, and give tips on what to expect!and give tips on what to expect!
