Erin Guidarelli

Kinesiology, 2014

Erin was proud to be a part of the Sports Medicine staff for the Portland Cascade during their inaugural season in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL). It was an exciting opportunity to support and maintain the health of the team and be part of the beginning of a new chapter in professional women’s softball. She was so happy to be able to contribute to growing the sport as she played softball at Central Catholic High School in the Portland, OR area and went on to play intercollegiate softball at Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt); an NCAA Division II institution. When Erin was in college, the only step further for playing softball "professionally" was on the Olympic team so to be able to contribute to the growth of Professional Women's Softball was an absolute dream and such a rewarding experience.  

After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Humboldt, she went on to obtain her Master of Science in Athletic Training at Pacific University in 2019. Erin has worked as an AT at Boeing, Genie Manufacturing, Dave's Killer Bread, Precision Cast Parts, Intel, Church & Dwight, Pierce College, Multnomah Orthopedic Clinic as well as various activities beyond traditional sports such as Rugby, Cheerleading, Dance, Fencing, Jiu Jitsu and MMA. She previously held the position of the Director of Sports Medicine for the Portland Pickles for the past 6 years. During the rest of the year, she works full time as the Head Athletic Trainer for Clark College in Vancouver, WA. She has been at Clark College in this capacity since 2022.

Rohit Kundu

Kinesiology, 2023

Rohit Kundu earned his Master of Science in Kinesiology from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt in December 2023. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Health and Kinesiology, specializing in Cognitive and Motor Neuroscience, at the University of Utah. His research focuses on foot and ankle biomechanics, gait energetics, assistive devices and footwear interventions, aging and mobility, and the neuromechanics of human locomotion.

Jeanne Landon-Campbell

Nursing, 1982

After 44 years in nursing (the last 24 in Nurse Education in the UK), Landon-Campbell was invited to Holyrood House in Edinburgh to attend a Royal Garden Party to celebrate her contributions to Nurse Education.  It was a huge honour and a total surprise.  King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Princess Anne were all in attendance. 

Kathy Koester

Nursing, 1980

Kathy's maiden name was Jacobs. She recently retired as an RN after working 44 years. She enjoyed her four years at Humboldt State University. 

Kathleen Dunn

Nursing, 1974

After working as an RN and rehabilitation clinical nurse specialist in San Diego for 45 years, Kathleen retired (2017) and started traveling around the world. Unfortunately, she had the onset of multiple sclerosis while on a trip to Iceland in June 2023. After a month in hospitals and an acute rehab center, she returned home. She can walk with a cane up to about 50 yards, and use a power carbon fiber folding wheelchair for further distances. Kathleen has started to travel again, although in a different style, and took a 35-day cruise to the South Pacific in early 2025. She misses snorkeling and hiking!

Joanie Stadtherr Cahill

Recreation Administration, 1985

Joanie Stadtherr Cahill was recently ordained a deacon in the Episcopal Church. Joanie and her husband, Brian Cahill ('81 Natural Resource Planning and Interpretation) both retired from long careers with California State Parks. They live in the Folsom area with their daughter Erin.

Dave Albert

Kinesiology, 1994

Dave recently retired after working over 20 years as a police officer in Santa Cruz. He is currently working part-time in law enforcement training in the Bay Area and otherwise spends time with his wife, three adult kids, and one (so far) grandkid. He frequents Tahoe in the summer at the lake and in the winter on the slopes, he enjoys traveling to as many different Major League Baseball stadiums as possible, and he is still best friends with his old HSU roommate!

Danielle Cenotti

Recreation Administration, 2018

Danielle spent two seasons working at a Bear Observatory in Alaska before the pandemic.  After substitute teaching for a few years to get through the pandemic, and working one season at Redwood National Park, she started working outreach and event planning for the Social Work Department at Cal Poly Humboldt. She has been married for over a year and earned a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Nathan Delgado

Recreation Administration, 1997

Nathan returned to school at 40 and received a B.S. in geology and an M.S. in geology and geomorphology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He worked researching post-wildfire debris flows, flash floods, and landslides before joining a large international consulting firm. Nathan is now a geomorphologist conducting surveys and research documenting the impacts of hydroelectric projects on rivers and aquatic wildlife.

Jean Ross Zedekar

Nursing, 1974

Jean retired from hospital nursing after 47 years in 2021. She started her nursing career at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA, and retired from St. John Medical Center in Longview, WA. She and her husband Steve raised two daughters, and are now happy grandparents to four grandchildren with another on the way. They love to boat, travel, scuba dive, and play pickleball. Jean looks forward to a reunion with her fellow nursing classmates for their 50-year graduation celebration.
