Aviation Club of Cal Poly Humboldt (RSOs)

The Aviation Club’s mission is to reduce barriers for students who are interested in getting involved with aviation. We strive to create a fun and inviting experience for all. The Aviation Club will provide students with the fundamental training on how to use the professional-grade flight simulator in the library, and training on how to obtain a drone pilot license.

4/11/2026 - Coast Guard helicopter landing on campus

On April 11, 2026 the Aviation Club is hosting the US Coast Guard helicopter landing on the Cal Poly Humboldt campus. An MH-65 Dolphin will land on one of the university's parking lots. Join the crew for lunch with the Aviation Club and Q&A session for students and the local community. Join us and learn about the aircraft

The Cal Poly Aviation Club will be holding Airport Day at Murray Field airport in Eureka. This event is free, open to the publish, and all ages.
