Division of Enrollment Management & Student Success

Purpose

The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS) will work collaboratively and creatively in order to:

  • Achieve the enrollment and retention goals of Cal Poly Humboldt and support the overall mission and strategic direction of the institution
  • Provide a rich and meaningful student experience that supports their overall wellbeing, growth and ultimate success
  • Deliver best-in-class service to our students, campus colleagues and community partners within the resources we have available
  • Nurture a culture of caring that centralizes professional development and teamwork in order to facilitate a broader campus climate of collegiality and collaboration

Vision

The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS) at Cal Poly Humboldt will develop a culture and work ethic that sets it apart, operating with integrity, authenticity, compassion, effectiveness and accountability in support of our core purpose.

EMSS team members aspire to lead by example, striving for excellence in each undertaking that supports the Humboldt student experience, from recruitment through graduation. We commit to equitable college access, diversity, inclusion, health and wellbeing, innovation and ongoing preparation of our students for life after graduation, supporting their call to leave this world better than they found it.
