Andrea Delgado

Andrea Delgado is an Assistant Professor of English at Cal Poly Humboldt, having received her Ph.D from the Department of Comparative Literature, Cinema, and Media at the University of Washington, Seattle. Her work has been published in collections such as Transnational Spaces: Intersections of Cultures, Languages, and Peoples and Confronting Critical Equity and Inclusion Incidents on Campus: Lessons Learned and Emerging Practices. Her current project tracks the narratives about the events following the acquittal of the LAPD officers who assaulted Rodney King, reading each community's perspective as a part of the larger whole of multiracial Los Angeles. Her research interests include urban environmental justice, digital media production, and critical ethnic studies.
