This program prepared me for my job by allowing me to see the world through a lens that includes all faces and hears all perspectives when it comes to food justice and privileges around land ownership.

What I enjoyed most about the program was the wide scope of topics and classes provided from conservation science to environmental justice.

What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?

I would say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program that they should consider it if they want to learn not just about the environment but also to learn more about themselves and the power they have to make a difference in their communities.
