About Winona




Winona Cecilia Aubrey-Herzog is a Yurok Tribal member and descendent of the Karuk Tribe, Trinidad Rancheria, and Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She studied Sociology and completed her undergraduate in Native American Studies in 2008. Then completed her MSW at Humboldt in 2010. She is also an AFSCME Union steward and was recently elected to the executive board. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys art, music, travel, and community & cultural events.
