Jonathan Baer

Jonathan Baer, Environmental Science & Management, 2014, got married the year he graduated from HSU. Two weeks after graduating he and his wife moved to Shenyang China where they taught English for a year. This experience convinced him to become a teacher for good. He applied to several schools for graduate programs and eventually decided to go with Southern Oregon University in Ashland. He received his master's degree in teaching with a K-12 teaching license with endorsements in elementary education and secondary social sciences. He subbed for a while and now is starting his second year teaching 6th grade in Baker City, Oregon. We also had a daughter Isabella in October of 2017 who just started walking this last weekend.

Aaron Pudlicki, Forestry & Wildland Resources, 2018, obtained a full-time job as a forester living in Portland, Oregon and managing timberland throughout western Oregon within three months of graduation.

Jesus Pascual Cisneros, World Languages & Cultures, 2018, was offered as Spanish Immersion teacher position at Dow's Prairie Elementary in McKinleyville, California after finishing the credential program with a Secondary Education credential. He will be starting his first year as a teacher this upcoming 2018 school year. Thank you for your support!

Tamara Ann Su'eSu'e, Organizational Leadership Outreach, 2001, went on to get her master's degree in Sociological Practice at CSU San Marcos and another master's degree in Educational Counseling from Azusa. She was a high school counselor for 10 years before having her first child, Tomasi, who is a year old now. She is married and currently lives in Prescott Valley, Arizona where she is a full-time mommy and work in logistics for her family business.

Sanford "Sandy" Wilbur, Wildlife, 1963, has just published his latest book, "Semi-Rough: A North Country Journal," about living off the grid in far northern New Hampshire. Beverly Ferne Wasson, Physical Education, 1969, Teaching Credential, 1970, taught high school PE in the Mt. Diablo School Dist. from 1970-1980. She started the first co-ed PE classes. From 1980-2011 I grew wine grapes on my family's vineyards. She was the first woman to head the county farm bureau and was on the North Coast Regional Water Quality Board 1999-2006. She retired and lives in the family home in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, CA.

She currently lives and works in Sacramento, CA, with her eldest granddaughter.
