Earth Week

What is Earth Week?

Earth Week is a time of community celebration and appreciation for the beautiful planet that is our home. Earth Day, which is always on April 22nd, is surrounded by a week of collaborative events, activities, speakers, clean-ups, sustainable facilities tours, group hikes, art, and much more. Cal Poly Humboldt has historically celebrated Earth Week with an exciting atmosphere created through the efforts of many different organizations and groups that all relate to sustainability. Each year features its unique events and ways of celebrating and taking action to further improve and take care of our planet. If you are interested in getting involved in any of the planning for the Earth Week events, email the A.S. Sub-Committee on Environmental Affairs Advisor, Katie Koscielak, at kmk928@humboldt.edu to be plugged into the right place!
