Dan Chandler has been a part of the OLLI Book Club since 2016. The club has read many great books since then, and even when books have turned out not to be great -- their discussions are. The group chooses books several months in advance and each reader will have one book chosen from two they suggest.

Dan is also a performer of ethnic music and radio host of an ethnic music show. For 40 years he performed traditional music on violin and gaida (bagpipe) with amateur groups, playing for folk dancers, in coffee shops and at festivals.

In 1992 he started the KHSU program, "In the Tradition," which featured ethnic music from around the world. The show continued for over 25 years.
