About Let's Connect

The Let's Connect weekly sessions first began early in the pandemic as a response to the isolation brought on by COVID-19. The sessions have since grown to become a regular gathering of friendly and interesting people. Facilitated by Tracey Barnes-Priestley, this hour of conversation focuses on a new topic each week. It is a time to share meaningful stories, thought-provoking experiences, and often, plenty of laughter. Please join us!

Let’s Connect Discussion Topics

  • May 2 - What are your thoughts and feelings about artificial intelligence?
  • May 9 - What are the most valuable lessons you have learned over the years?
  • May 16 - Who are your most favorite song and music artists?
  • May 23 - What surprises you most about aging?
  • May 30 - What would you put into a time capsule for future generations?

What is Zoom? How do I set it up?

Zoom is a web-based video conferencing platform that allows users to meet online, with or without video. If you are new to Zoom and would like to attend a free online training, please email olli@humboldt.edu for a link to the training. You can Zoom with OLLI -- we are here to support you!
