We will walk students over to the Arcata Farmers Market to show everyone how to safely get there. It is a very easy route and we will walk at a slower pace for everyone, to show them where the Arcata Farmers Market is and even talk about the local spots we pass. Even if you have been to the Farmers Market, please join us and make some new friends!

Open Boathouse Tour 

Check out the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center (HBAC), meet the rowing teams, learn to use the rowing machine, and learn more about Outdoor Adventures!

A bus will bring students from campus at Harry Griffith Hall (HGH) to HBAC every 30 minutes starting at 10 a.m. or you can meet at HBAC. A final bus will leave the HBAC at 12 (noon).

Area Meetings for on campus housing residents 

Kick off the year at your Area Meeting, where you'll get to meet your RA, RLC, and fellow residents! This essential gathering will cover everything you need to know about living on campus—housing policies, facilities info, community guidelines, and exciting programming opportunities. You'll also learn how to get involved, connect with resources, and make the most of your time in campus housing. Come with questions, leave with everything you need to feel right at home!
