Dr. Shaeffer has served as President and Faculty Rights Chair of the Cal Poly Humboldt Chapter of the California Faculty Association (CFA).
His teaching interests include: History of Western Philosophy, Aesthetics, Political Philosophy, Epistemology & Metaphysics, the later Wittgenstein.
