Text: 100 acres of Devoy tract approved by the County planning Commission as the project location for the major airport for humboldt county. For seven years it's been operated as a flying field by private parties. Mrs. Humboldt Gates submitted a magernoir of Gunther island and offered to sell the island to the county for $75,000 for an airport. They will forward this recommendation to the BOS.
