Text: " In 1850 James Van Duzen, with the L.K. Wood party, camped where Captain Wasgatt house new stands. Wesgatt cont. to live there till 1866, he sold his land in 1869. By 1873 W.N. Weber owned the property. In 1965, Andy Genzoli said the Wasgatt have still stands at Hydesville.
