Text: Article on a 24 acre property south of the railroad depot. Owned by Attorney L.F. Puter & Dr. Dungeon. Fences are being erected on the 24 acre tract, dividing it into lots & streets. When the 1st wharf is built, vessels will be allowed to dump ballast on the property, filling it to street level. When the government dredging was being done here in 1908, this prop. was inclosed with a bulkhead and the dredges pumped sand into the inclosure, filling the tract to within a few feet of street level.
