The last 50 mile gap in the road along the Klamath River between Happy Camp and Orleans will be completed soon. It's been under construction for 4 years and has been carried out by the fed gov - i.e. National Forest. Prior to this road, it took 2 days to traverse this section by trial. The construction was done under the direction of the Bureau of Public Roads. Cost = $1.2M
