Text: A group of 6 local men have purchased 90 acres adjoining Bendixens Shipyard on the south side. They intend to subdivide it. They bought it from the Minor Mill and Lumber Company. It has 2,500 ft of bay front and the price was nearly $50,000. They intend to create a new townsite and will lay out and grade new streets. The land includes "Grassy Glades and other fine picnic grounds.
