$6 million will be spent on improvements to highway 299 between 101 and Redding along 1/3rd of its length. Of the $6M, $3.5M will be spent between Berry Summit and Willow Creek. Currently at the west end of 299 at 101 a new expressway and interchange is being carried on, cost = $1,200,000.
