Text: An airport engineer with the CAA will visit Eureka soon to undertake a survey of local airport facilities as part of a nationwide survey. Purpose is to determine whether the fed govt should participate in the construction and maintenance of a national system of airports. Mayor Quinn though the survey may provide an a opportunity to call to official attention the need for a naval air base on Humboldt Bay.
