Text: The airport on North Spit near Smaoa was once government surplus property. The city of Eureka acquired it through two quitclaim deeds dated December 9th, 1947 and June 6th, 1949. If the city were to abandon the airport they must submit reasons and pass a resolution that the income will be used for aviation.
