"The alleged land entry frauds in Humboldt county are being investigated through the medium of the U.S. courts, & a score of more witnesses have been subpoenaed from Eureka. If the whole affair comes to light, & there is any punishment for perjury, we predict that another State prison will have to be built to accommodate the multitude of good swearens". The school has 55 students; teacher is W.S. Egan.
