Text: Ambrose Foster was killed when a car which he was riding with Murray Pine, went off the end of the wharf at the foot of Commercial. He was in charge of construction of the Eagles building, Carnegie free library, county jail, Minor theater in Arcata, Pickwick Stages stop, First National Bank, Eureka Junior High School and Eel River bridge at Fernbridge.
