Text: On Sept 13, 1896, Engine No.3 fell though the Mad River Bridge. Resulting lawsuits all but broke the Annie + Mary railroad. Around 1900 vance built the O+E RR though Arcata. By 1928 the passenger service on the A+M was discontinued.
