Big announcement that the Redwood issue with PL has been resolved, which was the last obstruction to the commencement of construction of the railroad. The redwood is 7 miles in length and 100 feet wide and runs through the redwood holding of PL, and will require the felling of nearly 10 million BF of redwood. PL will begin cutting Redwood, and NWP will begin tunneling through the bluffs beyond Shively.
