Text: The Big 4 will open today. It was built by Mary and Victor Evangelisti, a mile north of Arcata. Dining room will accommodate 125. It is in a grove of redwood trees on the site of Camp Curtis. This opening is a gala event. For a number of years they operated the Big 4 Inn at Trinidad. The original proprietor in Trinidad was an employee of the Big Four Railroad. He insisted the name be perpetuated.
